Nugan Estate

Nugan Estate is dedicated to producing premium wines from specially selected vineyards located in the Riverina, King Valley, Langhorne Creek, McLaren Vale and Coonawarra regions. These are widely recognised as some of Australia’s best known wine producing areas.

The story of Nugan Estate spans over 80 years, three generations, and displays determination, passion and grit. In 1938, Alfredo and Annelise Nugan fled their home village of Alcira, Spain and migrated to Australia. As immigrants they brought with them aspects of European culture including the enjoyment of wine.

Our role

Ten Four has worked with Nugan Estate to design and develop their website into an effective e-commerce tool, allowing the brand to offer exclusive deals and releases and further its customer reach.

We also helped with the development of the Nugan Estate Wine Club, which offers its members an exclusive mix of wines delivered to their door every 3 months.

We use social media and digital marketing to raise brand awareness and convert potential customers.

Website Design and Development

We aimed to create an easy-to-use, dynamic and informative e-commerce website. Buying wine can be an intimidating experience, so we wanted to give new users all of the education they need to make their selections and to give dedicated wine lovers genuine insights into the range.

Telling the Nugan Estate story was critical to the website too, allowing people to learn the rich history of one of Australia’s brightest and vibrant wine makers.

Creating an easy to use product page and ordering system was crucial to enabling customers to find wine and make purchases.

Email Newsletters

We have seen an increase in sales by enhancing and expanding Nugan’s email newsletters. These include a wine club, ‘the vine’ newsletters, sale campaigns and Matt Nugan’s monthly picks — these have all shown an impressive return in sales.
